ABS(x)

The ABS internal function returns the absolute value of X. In other words, regardless of whether the argument passed to ABS is positive, zero, or negative, the result is always NON-NEGATIVE.

Comments and Examples

  • ABS(-342) returns 342
  • ABS(-84.11) returns 84.11
  • ABS(4) returns 4
  • ABS(0) returns 0
